Nebraska has secured a commitment to its 2026 recruiting class.
Four-star forward Colin Rice will play for the Cornhuskers as a member of their 2026 recruiting class, he announced Thursday.
The 6-foot-7 forward out of Northwest High School chose Nebraska over schools such as Illinois, Northwestern and Iowa.
“I chose Nebraska because of the coaches, first off,” Rice told On3. They have believed in me from day one and have been with me every step of the way in the recruiting process and it is close to home and the fan support is awesome in Lincoln. I also think they will use me to the best of my abilities.”
He will join head coach Fred Hoiberg in the Big Ten. He is the first member of the 2026 recruiting class.
