  • North Carolina transfer Ven-Allen Lubin commits to NC State

    NC State has secured their eighth transfer portal addition for the 2025-26 season.

    North Carolina transfer Ven-Allen Lubin will play for the Wolfpack next season, he announced on Sunday.

    The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 8.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in his junior year for the Tar Heels.

    This will be Lubin’s fourth team in as many years after he began his college career at Notre Dame, followed by Vanderbilt and North Carolina.

    NC State has had a big off-season headlined by a new head coaching hire in Will Wade who had an overacheiving season at McNeese State.

    Their transfer portal class consists of eight players including Michigan transfer Tre Holloman, McNeese transfers Alyn Breed and Quadir Copeland, Houston transfer Terrance Arceneaux, Florida State transfer Jerry Deng, Butler transfer Colt Langdon and Texas Tech transfer Darrion Williams.
