COLORADO SPRINGS, COCJ Rosser is ranked the No. 1 power forward in the Class of 2027 and recently participated in the USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team Training Camp.

Rosser recently picked up a Kentucky offer, but they aren’t the only Blue Blood program involved in his recruitment.

“[Mark Pope] he talks to my coach, that’s how I got the offer,” said Rosser.

Rosser, who plays AAU basketball with Team United, said Kentucky’s pipeline to the NBA really stands out to him.

“Really, it’s nice,” he said. “It’s a good school and it produces a lot of NBA players. They’re definitely up there NBA-wise for helping players get to the league.”

Others are involved in Rosser’s recruitment as well.

“UNC, Virginia Tech, USC, Texas, Texas AM, Wake Forest, Maryland and a couple more,” said Rosser on who has offered.

Duke is also involved as one would expect. And despite growing up close to Raleigh he wasn’t a fan of any of the three area ACC schools.

“My household [growing up] was full was of different college [allegiances],” he said.

Some compare Rosser, who attends Northern Nash High School in Rocky Mount, to Brandon Ingram of the Toronto Raptors. Ingram playedat Duke before being drafted 2nd overall in 2016.

“Me and [Brandon Ingram] have the same build from when he was in high school,” Rosser said. “Everybody said he was down from my area, Kinston. And [they compare] how he gets to his mid range spots a lot.”
