Mesa, AZ – Noah George is a 6-foot-3 combo-guard attending Bella Vista Prep in the class of 2026. George is the son of NBA scout Mike George, currently working for the Klutch Sports Group. George will spend this summer playing with the Arizona Unity, who just finished the first EYBL session of the season 1-2 as a team.
In Session 1, George started in all three games, averaging 5.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He just finished his junior year at Bella Visita and talked about the season and the brotherhood he formed with his teammates throughout the season.
“We did really well, especially with the expectations coming from last year,” George told ZAGSBLOG. “Living together the whole year really helped our bond and let us take it to the next level.”
With the AAU season in full gear, George is looking ahead to what the rest of summer may hold.
“Just building another brotherhood,” George said. “I’ve played with a lot of the same guys in high school and AAU, but we added Cameron Holmes. So it’s exciting to play with him and have a good season.”
A shifty, 6-foot-3 guard, George’s high school coach Brandon Rosenthal described him as creative and fearless.
“[Noah] sees the game in a special way. He can make passes that others don’t see or can’t make. He gives you energy and gives you life.”
George holds offers and interests from various schools and provided an update on his recruitment entering the summer:
Georgia Tech: “I like that they are guard-heavy and let their guards play with freedom. I’ve been there once because my cousin [Naithan George] played there before transferring to Syracuse.”
Oregon: “Mike Mennenga is the coach that has recruited me. I’ve known him for a long time and I really love their program.”
Arizona State: “I’ve heard from Yusuf Ali and Bobby Hurley. They are both really cool people and have a great staff. I think they’ll bounce back this year.
UC Santa Barbara: “I’ve talked to Brandon Cyrus. They have a great staff and an amazing environment that I really love.”
Boise State: “I’ve heard from David Moats the most. He’ll probably be at the last session in July, so I’m looking forward to seeing him. He just keeps it real and is always telling me what to work on and how to improve.”
California: “Their staff keeps it real. They have let me know how I can be a big part of their program and how to develop and become very effective.”
All these schools have one important quality that matters more to George than anything else: they’re a family.
“I need a family environment with guys that love the game, not just a business feeling” George said. “You need a good family and good brothers to win.”
George’s favorite player is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a fellow Canadian, and closely follows his style and career.
A fun fact about George is that he was a skilled coder when he was younger and is an avid gamer in his free time.
