Big East head coaches have picked the league’s all-conference teams. Each coach had a vote and was not allowed to select their own players. Here’s how it shaped out:

- *Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton
- Micah Peavy, Georgetown
- *Kam Jones, Marquette
- Zuby Ejiofor, St. John’s
- *RJ Luis Jr., St. John’s
- *Eric Dixon, Villanova
*Denotes unanimous selection
All-Big East Second Team
- Solo Ball, UConn
- Alex Karaban, UConn
- Steven Ashworth, Creighton
- Kadary Richmond, St. John’s
- Zach Freemantle, Xavier
All-Big East Third Team
- Jahmyl Telfort, Butler
- Liam McNeeley, UConn
- Thomas Sorber, Georgetown
- David Joplin, Marquette
- Wooga Poplar, Villanova
- Ryan Conwell, Xavier
*A tie in the voting created an extra position.
Big East All-Freshman Team
- *Liam McNeeley, Connecticut
- Jackson McAndrew, Creighton
- *Thomas Sorber, Georgetown
- Royce Parham, Marquette
- Oswin Erhunmunse, Providence
- Ryan Mela, Providence
All of the top five scorers in just Big East conference games — Dixon, Luis, Kalkbrenner, Peavy and Jones — are represented on the first team. Ejiofor averaged 12.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in conference play. Dixon is Villanova’s first league scoring champion since Josh Hart in 2016-17. McNeeley and Sorber will likely be battling it out for the Freshman of the Year award, each winning the weekly honors seven times.
The Player of the Year in the conference will be one of the first team selections. That award, along with Coach of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, March 12, at Madison Square Garden at 1:30 p.m. ET. The other awards like Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Sixth Man Award and Sportsmanship Award, will come out on Monday, March 10, at 11 a.m. ET.
The Big East tournament will begin on Wednesday, March 12. You can find the bracket here.
